Nomination Period

Nominations begin at 9:00am, March 13th, 2025 and end on March 27th, 2025 at 5:00PM. Please note that late and/or incomplete submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. All Nomination information shall be submitted using the official nomination form found here.

Election Information Session

If you are interested in running for a position in the WCSA Fall By-Election, you are encouraged to attend an information session on Thursday, March 21st, 5 PM in person 

 

All Candidates Meeting

You are required to attend the All Candidates Meeting in order to ensure your candidacy in the election. The All Candidates Meeting will take place on  March 31st 2025, 12:00 PM 

A recording will be sent to all candidates who cannot attend.

 

Campaign Period

The campaign period is from March 28th, 9 AM - April 4th, 5PM. You are expected to read the WCSA Election Policy and strictly adhere to it for the duration of your campaign. The policy may be found on the WCSA website under Governing Documents. All posters and flyers must be approved by the CRO. You may bring them to the All Candidates Meeting to be signed if you have them prepared. 

NOTE: Campaign period begins after the all candidates meeting.

 

Candidate Speeches

The candidate speeches will take place on March 31st, 12 PM. More information will be made available closer to the date.

 

Voting Period

The voting period will be taking place from March 31st 2:00 PM - April 4th, 5:00PM. Voting will be done through https://utoronto.simplyvoting.com/, and may be accessed by using a UTORid. All Woodsworth College students are eligible to vote. No campaigning is allowed during the voting period beyond publicizing the fact that the election is happening and you are a candidate. To do so will result in an election policy violation.

Campaign Period: Friday, March 28th at 9AM to Friday, April 4th at 5PM
Speeches: Monday, March 31st at 12PM (Waters Lounge)
Voting Period: Monday, March 31st at 2PM to Fri, April 4th at 5PM (Note: the campaign period will conclude with the end of the voting period)
Appeals Period: Friday, April 4th at 5PM to Sunday, April 6th at 5PM
Official Results Announced: Monday, April 7th
