Hi Woodsworth! My name is Minki Ryan Jeong, and I am so grateful, and honored to be working alongside you as President of WCSA for the term 2017-2018. I am in my fourth year specializing in Political Science, and I was lucky enough to have been representing the absolute best student population on campus for the past three years on WCSA. Hey Woodsworth! My name is Rohan Shah and I’m in my final year studying Finance & Economics at Rotman Commerce. I am your Vice President of Financial Affairs for 2017-18 and I ran on the platform of integrity, accountability and open-mindedness. It is my job to ensure that your money is allocated efficiently and that WCSA continues to provide amazing events and initiatives to you all. That being said, I am always open to hear from all of YOU.

Hey Woodsworth! My name is Julia Cicconi, and I am super excited to be your 2017-18 Vice President of Social Affairs! I am currently in my fourth year, studying Criminology, Sociology, and Women & Gender Studies, I play on the Varsity Women’s Rugby Team, and if you didn’t already know, I LOVE all things Woodsworth. I have become dedicated to the Wolfpack through endless involvement here and it has been an absolute pleasure engaging with the best college at U of T! This year, I hope to make it the best social environment we’ve seen at Woodsworth yet. My name is Haya and I’m honored to represent you this year as the Vice President of External Affairs.On behalf of external portfolio, I am going to work towards building stronger relationships between Woodsworth and other campus groups and colleges at U of T, to encapsulate opportunities that our students can benefit from.  I will be liaising with campus organizations to organize collaborative events in the pursuit of our mission and vision to promote accessibility and equity while enhancing the university experience of our diverse student body.My main focus will be to help you put your ideas into actions. This will be made possible through establishing new clubs, providing existing clubs with an opportunity to become affiliated with WCSA, as well as by offering individual initiative grants each semester to support you in your academic endeavors. I would encourage you to get involved with the external committee, existing Woodsworth clubs and even start your own club! Hey Woodsworth! My name is Valerie Dos Santos and I am your Vice President of Athletic Affairs for the 2017-2018 term. I am a fourth year student majoring in Criminology and Ethics, Society and Law, and minoring in Political Science. This year, I plan to organize a variety of athletic events that everyone can participate in and enjoy. DAVID MCDANIEL, MATURE STUDENT’ DIRECTOR                                      

 Hi everyone in the woodsworth and WCSA community, my name is David McDaniel. You may have heard me from several workshops and previous meetings I have attended. As for my Biography, I am a current 2nd year student going into 3rd year in the fall. I plan to go for a specialist in English, with a minor in psychology and a major in criminology. As a mature student director, I will focus on connecting to other mature students on campus so that they get the support they deserve. My plans for the summer will involve hosting a “Lifetime management series workshop” designed to assist mature students in developing their momentum for pursuing their degree. I look forward to working with everyone so that we can all ensure a safe, managable University life.

Hello my Woodsworth family!! My name is Justin Zelnicker and I’m going into my third year studying a double major in Employment & International Relations. This year I will be your UTSU(University of Toronto Students’ Union) Woodsworth director which is a new role that I’m very excited to take on. It is an internal role where I get to still be a part of Woodsworth and attend all the board meetings, but I will also get the chance to attend all UTSU meetings as a Woodsworth representative where I get the opportunity to vote on policies and discuss different matters that affect all students at U of T. Office of the Dean of Students

As Woodsworth College’s Student Life Coordinator, I oversee all programming portfolios for the Office of the Dean of Students including orientation, mentorship, leadership development, and community outreach. Additionally, I oversee various administrative and co-curricular elements of the first-year foundational program, Woodsworth One, and work closely with Woodsworth Residence Life staff.

I work directly with the Woodsworth College Students’ Association (WCSA) in supporting their efforts to engage the student population, including collaborating on events (Community Engagement 101, Multicultural Fair, Student Involvement Reception), advising elected WCSA executives, directors, clubs and committees, managing WCSA’s co-curricular record, and acting as the Chief Returning Officer (CRO) during election periods.
