Apply now to be a Woodsworth Frosh Leader! Applications are due Thursday, April 3rd 2014 at 11:59pm.
The hiring format is different this year. It will be a carousel style process. Mandatory leader hiring will take place April 4th from 10:45am to 2:30pm! The leader commitment involves two weekends in August: one for JOLT (Joint Orientation Leader Training) and the other for WCSA Frosh Leader training and Orientation week itself.
A Woodsworth Frosh Leader is expected to act as a role model for incoming university students, by presenting themselves in a manner adhering to the high morals and values of the college, and by creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all.
Please also be aware that Woodsworth Orientation Week 2014 is working to integrate WOLF (Woodsworth Orientation for Life after Frosh) with traditional Orientation events. This means that Frosh Leader applications should be able to show enthusiasm for a range of events (themed around social, academics, and student life), as well as ability to connect with first year students who have spirited character and quiet character!
A Woodsworth Head Leader is expected to act as a role model for incoming university students, by presenting themselves in a manner adhering to the high morals and values of the college, and by creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all incoming students.
A Head Leader is someone who has displayed an overwhelming commitment to Woodsworth’s Frosh Week in the past, and expresses the ability and desire to strengthen the Woodsworth Community.
A Head Leader will be positioned throughout different groups during Frosh Week and will serve to bridge the gap between the Orientation Coordinators and the Frosh Leaders.
