Join Liberal Arts at UofT for their 2nd Annual Trivia Night! On Friday, March 8th LAUT will welcome students and staff from Woodsworth and Seneca College in promoting their partnership with a night of competition and a battle of wits. Prizes for the winning team and runner-up. Delicious food and a cash bar will be provided.

WCSA and the Woodsworth Movie Club present A Good Day to Die Hard! On Wednesday, February 27th we are going to Yonge & Dundas Cinemas (formerly AMC) to see the 9pm showing of the latest Die Hard movie.

Tickets are $5 as usual and can be purchased below and in the WCSA office (Woodsworth College, Room 103). Tickets will be distributed at the movie theater before the movie starts. You do not need to bring a receipt, but please bring ID.

On Thursday November 22nd at 7:30pm LAUT is going to see Romeo and Juliet at Hart House. Tickets are $7 for Woodsworth students, and $12 for non-Woodsworth students. There’s limited tickets available, so get them while you can!

On November 15th the Woodsworth Movie Club is going to see Skyfall at the Varsity Theater. Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased below or in the WCSA office (Room 103, Woodsworth College), there is a limited amount of tickets so get them while you can!

On November 15th we will be meeting up in the Woodsworth Residence lobby at 9:15pm, you will get your ticket there so be sure to be on time! (You do not need to bring a receipt, we will have a list of names of those who purchased tickets)

LAUT will be heading to the Canadian Opera Company (COC) to see Il Travatore next Wednesday, Oct 31st, at 7:30PM. Tickets can be bought below or in the WCSA office (Room 103, Woodsworth College) for $15.

Verdi’s Il Trovatore mesmerizes audiences with its scorching tale of the vengeful gypsy Azucena, her son Manrico’s romance with the noblewoman Leonora, and his rivalry with the Conte di Luna. From the raucous Anvil Chorus to the hair-raising tenor aria “Di quella pira,” a superb cast will carry the opera to its jaw-dropping finale.
